Lee van der Geest is an amazing artist based in Queenstown, New Zealand. She and her husband Jaap van der Geest host art workshops in their beautiful home opposite Lake Hayes.

I worked with Lee to design her logo and brand identity. We wanted to capture the essence of wire in the Kiwi’s design (New Zealand’s national bird). To do this we used one of Lee’s sketches to create the illustration above.
